If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I would welcome working with you. My goal is to help you move towards healing and wholeness in a life-affirming and meaningful way. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your present life situation. By applying complementary approaches and techniques, we can unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a life worth celebrating.
As a caring, genuine, nonjudgemental, and trustworthy companion, I will join you on your journey. As a counselor, I am attentive to your past hurts, present realities, and future possibilities. Together we will navigate your path towards individual, relational and/or spiritual healing and wholeness. Awareness, understanding, and the courage to change are the keys, both as they apply to a particular goal as well as to the journey. If you discover or name a life-affirming goal/s to which you can strive, a crucial first step has been taken. Continual exploration of this goal allows you to redirect or refocus with each step you take. Your journey is no less a goal. Therapy is full of challenges and surprises, and, as in life, it is in the participation of it that you can fully experience its gifts.
